Salt and minerals for big game
Solimax molasses block for deer, roe deer and mouflon. Pressed, with molasses, and it does not crumble in the rain, so it can stay outdoors in the hunting ground.

Forage in hunting grounds lacks salt
Proper feeding of game is one of the basic conditions for preserving the species and preventing disease. Forage in hunting grounds is generally poor, and in winter it is of lower quality and harder to reach.
Dry grass, shrubs, low plants, broadleaf trees, conifers and hay at feeding sites do not provide enough salt and minerals. The block makes up for it: game lick it at will and take what they need.
The formula is tailored to deer and roe deer and stimulates antler growth.
The block improves general health and helps maintain resistance, development and well-being.
Molasses and starch in the block improve the animals' energy balance.
Deer and roe deer come back regularly to the spot where the block is, which makes it easier to monitor numbers and young.
How to place the block in a hunting ground
- 1A spot the game already uses
Place the block at a salt lick site or next to a feeding site, in a quiet spot the game already visits.
- 2Water nearby
After salt, animals look for water. Keep a water trough, stream or other source of fresh water nearby.
- 3Hung or raised
The block has a hole for hanging. Hang it or set it on a stump or post so it does not lie in the mud.
- 4Can stay outdoors
The block does not crumble in rain or damp conditions, so it can stay outdoors.
- 5Checks and replacement
When you go round the hunting ground, check the salt lick sites and put out a new block when the old one is used up. Game return to the same spot, so keep it stocked at all times.
- 6Most important in winter
In winter, forage in the hunting ground is at its poorest and hardest to reach, so salt and minerals matter most then.
