A salt block with phosphorus, magnesium and trace elements, used as a mineral supplement for dairy cows on pasture or in the barn. Cows lick it at will and cover their own needs. Sodium deficiency causes loss of appetite, exhaustion, lower milk yield and weight loss. Cows need about 30 g of salt for basic needs plus 20 g per 10 litres of milk.
